Class Descriptions:
Level I: Focus is on building a strong foundation in
yoga principles through refined movement and breath. Beginners welcome.
Level II: This class is for students with 3 to 6 months
experience in Iyengar Yoga or students with exposure to another method of yoga for 6 months, that are healthy and without injury.
Level III: This is a strong, dynamic practice with
inverted postures.
Gentle Yoga Class: A slow paced class that great for beginners,
elderly or people with back or hip problems.
Prenatal Yoga: Postures are modified and supportive with attention to breath awareness and relaxation, preparing
you for birth. There is no prior yoga experience required.
Note: participants must be passed the 14th week to start.
*PostNatal Class: This class is postnatal yoga with your baby. It
is a great way to bond with baby and recover from pregnancy
and childbirth. And it's a wonderful way to begin your baby's entry
into
the wonders of yoga...
Kids Yoga Class: Kids yoga is a fun and creative way to help your kids feel healthier, calmer and more focused. it instils a great
connection with their mind and body while they're still at the age of
developing both. Ages 6 - 11
* Yoga Posture Foundation Course - An Introduction: This course is designed to teach the key classic yoga postures which form the foundation for many other contemporary styles of yoga. Suitable for beginners and anyone wishing to refine their current yoga practice in any style. A great introduction to yoga or to establish a basic practice.
* Yoga Posture Foundation Program – ‘Exploring the Fundamentals’ (8 week program – open registration) - A continuation in the exploration of yoga postures. This 8 week program expands on the Introductory Course and is also suitable for those having some yoga experience wanting to review the fundamentals regardless of which style you practice. An opportunity to establish and experience the rewards of a regular practice. This program is progressive so full registration is recommended, however registration will remain open.
