In the 2 ½ years since I started practicing yoga with Eileen I have experienced a significant improvement in my overall health and well being. My balance and flexibility have changed dramatically. When I first started I had flexibility of a 2x4. Now, at the age of 62, I have the willowy grace of a young oak. Not only that, but I stand taller (6’ 4” instead of my old 6’ 2”) and my blood pressure has dropped.
The classes are fun and interesting and Eileen varies them every week, depending on the needs and interests of the class. She takes the time to customize the poses and props for each student and I can see myself progressing each time. Eileen is a great teacher, a terrific blend of humour, encouragement and good natured badgering. I would recommend her classes to anyone of any age or fitness level.

After 16 years of countless physiotherapy, chiropractor and massage sessions and being told that my leg would not get any straighter without a knee replacement, a miracle happened. I met Eileen at her yoga studio and with her help and determination my leg is now almost completely straight and I can walk on my right heel. I certainly was not a believer when she first told me that it might be possible but I am now.
I just wish that I had met her 16 years ago. Because of the continued stress of my uneven gait a great deal of damage has been done to my body. Very slowly but surely I am becoming stronger and more mobile. Eileen’s method of adaptive Iyengar moves and positions using various props takes into account my current mobility issues and works from there. She is always coming up with new and different ways for me to move my body. I leave the studio feeling so much better than when I went in. Not only is my mobility better, but since taking yoga with Eileen, I even sleep better.
I highly recommend Eileen’s Yoga Studio to anyone who is looking to feel better and especially if they have movement issues. Of all the various exercise programs and therapies I have tried since my accident 16 years ago, this yoga program has had the most beneficial and long-lasting effects by far. Thank you Eileen from the bottom of my heart!

As someone who has been a student of Eileen, I made the most progress with yoga in all the therapies I have done. I found it a great stress reliever, and it made me the most confident, flexible, and strong since my surgery. My mom even commented on the difference! This type of yoga is personalized to the student's needs, and Eileen is a great instructor. She explains what to do in common, basic language which makes it easier to understand for those of us who have difficulty following instructions. She also makes it fun.

In a matter of five years I was in two car accidents and one was a head on collision and nearly fatal. I was left with a fractured sternum and serious neck injuries resulting in migraine headaches. Since my accidents I have worked with two physiotherapists, one massage therapist,a kinesiologist and a chiropractor.
